چکیده
ABSTRACT Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the stress distribution in internal tapered connection implants with different adaptation geometries submitted oblique load simulation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method. Methods: Three implant-abutment assemblies were modeled by varying only diameter abutment body cone region. dimensions 4.0 mm and 13 length. Oblique loads 210 N angled 30 degrees long axis implant applied a hemispherical positioned over abutments simulating dental crown. generated assembly analyzed FEA method von Mises criterion. Results: A higher concentration coronal region (collar) on opposite side application shown, as well screw threads. cervical showed highest values, values being observed G3 (1034 MPa), followed G2 (841 MPa) G1 (702 MPa). Conclusion: According results presented, it can be concluded that more homogeneous less concentrated assembly. Therefore, use standardized manufacturer is recommended.

Influence of three different implant thread designs on stress distribution: A three-dimensional finite element analysis
PURPOSE Clinical success of implant prosthodontics is dependent in part upon the type of implant thread design. The selection of implant thread design plays an important role in the outcome of the treatment. This study was undertaken to evaluate the pattern of stress distribution using a finite element analysis; hence, the area which would be bearing maximum load for a given design would be arr...

objectives : this finite element method study aimed to compare the amount of stress on an isolated mandibular second premolar in two conventional reciprocal parallel interface designs of removable partial dentures (rpds) and the same rpd abutment tooth (not isolated). materials and methods: a kennedy class 1, modification 1 rpd framework was simulated on a 3d model of mandible with three differ...
متن کاملEffect of Abutment Height Difference on Stress Distribution in Mandibular Overdentures: A Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis
Background and Aim: Implant-supported overdentures are a treatment option for edentulous patients. One of the important factors in determining the prognosis of overdenture treatment is to control the distribution of stress in the implant-bone and attachment complex. This study assessed the effect of implant abutment height difference on stress distribution in mandibular overdentures. Materials...
متن کاملThree-dimensional finite element analysis of platform switched implant
PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the platform switching concept on an implant system and peri-implant bone using three-dimensional finite element analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS Two three-dimensional finite element models for wide platform and platform switching were created. In the wide platform model, a wide platform abutment was connected to a wide platform...

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal thread shape for an experimental cylinder implant. Twelve three-dimensional finite element models with an implant of different thread shape were created: 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm square designs (S-1, S-2, and S-3); 90, 60, and 30 V-shaped designs (V-1, V-2, and V-3); 45, 30, and 15 buttress designs (B-1, B-2, and B-3); 45, 30, and 15 reverse buttr...
